He utilizes his microsurgical skills to perform delicate cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures to achieve the finest results. Trained as a microsurgeon by the legendary Dr. Harry Buncke, Dr. Valauri co-authored 'The Atlas of Microsurgery'.

He has also authored over 30 medical articles, is a former editor of the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and a contributor to the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Valauri is a frequent lecturer at national and international plastic surgery conferences.
